Our own San Diego Diocese Mental Health Ministry has teamed up with Irish Outreach to assist Pieta House to deliver a 5k (walk/run) to bring awareness to suicide.
Darkness into Light has become an iconic walk that started in Dublin, Ireland and has now turned into a global response. This symbolic 5K walk will begin at 5:30 AM on May 7 at Mission Bay just as the dawn is rising.
This reflects the service offered in Pieta House, help for people who are distressed or in crisis – bringing them from their darkness into the light.
